Why be miserable?

NewImage

I am not sure why anyone would choose to be miserable but this does appear to be the case when the many reasons I get from people about being positive. I know people can often face many difficulties for a wide range of reasons but it does seem to be some people have trapped themselves into a mindset of feeling mindset which they actually seem to enjoy being unhappy. It is often much easier to be negative than it is to be positive.

On this basis, it makes me wonder how far we should in accepting people’s self-pity before saying that’s enough and its now time to get real and get on with life and we should not indulge people in activities that drag them down. This does not mean I lack empathy or compassionate, quite the contrary as I wish to help people to move on!
