Someone is always worse off

It is very easy for anyone to complain about their own situation and turn their experiences into a sob story, but there is always someone worst off than you whatever your situation and it is important to remind yourself off this.

We personally decide if the glass is half empty or as I prefer, half full and it is better to be positive about a situation. Being  positive does not mean we have to be happy with the situation we face but it is about putting that in the context of a journey where we can take positive action to better our situation.

It is important to appreciate what we have and the wonders of the era we live in rather than focusing on what we do not have and feel we deserve and it is often only time until we are rewarded for our positive actions.
